Welcome the vibrancy of spring with an eclectic selection of orchestral music spanning the eighteenth, nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Enjoy works by Gershwin, Barber, Mendelssohn and Mozart.
The performance will start with the joy of Mozart’s Overture - Cosi fan tutte. This will then be followed by two pieces for strings, the calm and much loved Adagio by Samuel Barber followed by George Gershwin’s jazz inspired Lullaby.
We will conclude an exciting year of performances with Mendelssohn’s heroic Symphony No. 3, ‘Scottish’.
